New Clients

New to the Brain Mind Healing Center? Here’s what to expect.

We’ve designed our practice to give you more time, more attention, and a more personalized path to feeling better.

Not ready to book a full appointment yet? Start with a free 10-minute phone consultation no commitment, simply an opportunity to ask questions and see if we’re the right fit.

Private-Pay Practice

We intentionally do not accept insurance. Here’s why: insurance-based practices are often required to limit the session length and number of visits, and follow standardized treatment protocols dictated by the insurer rather than your actual needs.

By operating outside the insurance system, Dr. Kotbi and our clinical team can spend the time each evaluation truly requires, build a treatment plan customized to you, and adjust it as your needs change without approval delays or coverage limits getting in the way.

This means longer, more thorough initial evaluations, more face time in every follow-up, and a treatment plan shaped around you rather than a billing code.

We do not participate with insurance plans, but we’re happy to provide documentation you can submit to your insurer for potential out-of-network reimbursement.

A Fuller Team, A Wider Range of Care

Unlike most private psychiatric practices, we’ve built a full team of psychiatric nurse practitioners and licensed clinical social workers alongside Dr. Kotbi, so you’re never limited to one provider’s calendar. Our team is trained in Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP), and we offer an unusually complete range of advanced treatment options under one roof: TMS, IV ketamine infusion, NAD+ infusion therapy, and Spevato (esketamine), along with traditional medication management and psychotherapy.
